Ice Storm in Missouri

Sitting all warm and cozy next to our fireplace, while the ice is building up outside and sure to wake to more in the morning. All schools closed early today and will be closed tomorrow and possible also on Wednesday. Hoping for no power outages or more destoyed trees. We are prepared either way with lots of things to keep us busy. Checked with rest of family and they too are prepared to buckle down for a couple of days.

Elizabeth our poet, artist and now working as a paralegal with an Attorney in Overland Park, John is working with Sprint, Sarah is enjoying time in her pre-schools and is out smarting everyone in the family with her cute sayings. Josh is our DS expert and likes playing video games and does well in school. Chris our all around genuis and is TALL for only being in Junior High, going to take after his fathers side of the family. They all make their home in Overland Park, Kansas

Celine an A Student in Junior High, David is busy with his own Website Professionals business and still manages to raise early and teach early morning Seminary, Megan another A student also in Junior High and a talented singer, Madelyn is now in school and loving it, she is our little artist in the making, Valerie, now that children are all in school is working part time in Black & White Market store in Branson Landing and loving it, she also keeps busy being in the Young Womens Presidency.

Nick, Tina, Rick, Mark, and Jacob

Nick is now at Rolla University S&T, Tina works at St. Johns in Springfield, Rick works at AG in Springfield and has his own company RDFTS, Mark is in the Army, has returned from Iraq this year, and is now employed and also attending College, Jacob is attending Republic High School and is busy with Football and LaCrosse.

Starting a Blog when you dont know what your doing

This is harder than I thought...but decided needed to get going on this and refine it as I go. Hopefully for the better. Maybe even getting imput from family members and or friends :-)
